SWELLING THE CHORUS

The California chapter of the Prince of Wales Alumni Association is one of the most active chapters of the prestigious Prince of Wales Secondary School in Kingtom, Sierra Leone. We are a nonprofit organization established in the state of California, USA in 2008 in accordance with section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Since its inception, the association has benefited immensely from the generous donations of well wishers from all works of life. 
Members are ex-pupils of the school who have answered the call to give back. 
Members and our families contribute time and resources toward the association’s goals. 100% of all proceeds go toward the furtherance of the association’s mission to empower students and faculty at the Prince of Wales School in Sierra Leone by supporting projects and initiatives aimed at advancing academic excellence. This noble goal helps bring together alumni who reside in California and its neighboring states. Our chapter organizes various fundraising events such as picnics, dinners, and galas, to support current and near term projects and initiatives.
One of our signature initiative is the annual alumni scholarship program which offer scholarships to deserving students who are attending the School. These scholarships enable talented students to pursue their education and contribute to the development of their communities and the world. 
We also support charitable causes that benefit the local community in California.
